Our Leadership

Dear Parents and Students,

Bright Among Others.

It is an honour and privilege to serve as your Principal and to have the opportunity to lead a school founded on Tradition, Education, and Excellence — pillars on which this esteemed institution is renowned in society.

Nakano College, a well-reputed school in our country, was founded in 2005 and follows the Cambridge Curriculum from pre-school and Primary to O/Levels, and the National Curriculum from Grade 6 to O/Levels. I am delighted that Nakano College, Bandaragama, is now registered as an Independent Cambridge International School, approved by Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE), where our students can register and sit their Cambridge examinations in their own familiar school environment.

The school has earned a reputation for Academic Excellence and has gifted many young individuals to our society. Our students have excelled not only in academics but also in sports and other extracurricular activities as a result of the well-rounded and balanced educational methods and practices we have in place.

Although international in our curriculum, Nakano College is truly rooted in its cultural approach, moulding and training our students to live in a multi-cultural society like ours. Parents of our students play an integral part in this process, not only in educating their children but also in supporting the school in building well-rounded individuals who will be accepted in every sphere of our society.

Nakano is a place where learning and teaching are the norm, and I am honoured to be a part of this great community. Thank you!

Dear Students, Parents, and Guardians,

As the Deputy Principal of Nakano College and Principal of Nakano International Pre-School, I am delighted to extend a warm welcome to our vibrant educational community.

At Nakano, we are committed to providing a nurturing environment where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. As an international school, we offer English-medium education that prepares students for success in a globalised world. Our curriculum is designed to meet the rigorous standards set by Cambridge International Education, ensuring our students receive a world-class education that opens doors to prestigious universities and promising career opportunities.

Our dedicated faculty and staff are passionate about empowering students to reach their full potential. Through innovative teaching methods, personalised support, and a wide range of extracurricular activities, we strive to inspire a love for learning and encourage students to explore their interests and talents.

At Nakano, we believe in the importance of fostering a strong sense of community and collaboration. We encourage open communication between students, parents, and educators to create a supportive learning environment where everyone feels valued and respected.

Whether you are a prospective student, parent, or member of our community, we invite you to explore our programmes, facilities, and the exciting opportunities awaiting you at Nakano College and Nakano International Pre-School. We look forward to welcoming you to our school community and embarking on a journey of academic excellence and personal growth together.
